Graphic design is an art that combines pictures and text. In class we have been looking at the history of graphic design and my job is to make a creative timeline including my personal favourites.

Etching is the process of using strong acid or mordant to cut into parts of a metal surface to create a design in intaglio in the metal. This technique was invented by Daniel Hopfer.
Comics and graphic novels. Graphic design constitutes the main foundation of comics and also plays a crucial role in conveying various narratives trough line drawings and colouring scheme.
Today graphic design has made its way into all aspects of modern life. Modern architecture has been influenced by graphics.
